September 15 Update

As our movie has now passed the 18 minute mark, we are now heading in new directions that should take the film to another level. On Friday, we were on location outdoors to film during a school assembly, getting shots of the crowd, Mr. Bulioisi's character rolling under a fence, the bad guys overhead in a jet plane, and Buliosi trying to find Tiara's character while Keyon and Sam were in pursuit. James and Sam did the bulk of the filming with advisement coming from Keyon and Sean. Probably the best part of the whole thing was Tiara not having much of a clue what was going on during the filming, yet it could be edited to be some really solid footage that adds to the film. Now, it will be a matter of filming some additional shots with no audience at the stadium...although we do have a fire drill planned for this week (aka more filming opportunities!!!)

As for the general news surrounding the film, we should obviously plan to show this in homerooms during school, in the auditorium one night, and the ultimate might be at a real movie theater for some private screening. Of course, this will be released on DVD...perhaps with autographs from the main characters for fans of the movie.

More updates coming soon...

YEAH! That was a cool day and I personally think that I shot really go footage. I can't wait to see it. Also I think that TVA should have special privleges to film when needed to. Like you said a fire drill so we should be able to meet up and film what we need to or want to film for this movie.

Don't you hate it when spam bots spam your blogs?! Anyway, great times in the stadium with the filming. I really felt the magic happening during that 10 minutes of shooting. I trust the editing team (aka Brown Enterprise) to do what they can with the footage. Can't wait for that private screening, and good luck to everyone in the production of this blockbuster!
